KAT RIVERS & THE SECOND SIGHT is a Philadelphia-based rock band known for their show stopping live performances, powerhouse vocals, creative song arrangements, and poetic lyrics. The 4-piece band features front woman Kat Rivers, guitarist Ric Haas, bassist Ava Esrich, and drummer Bob Bradford.

Equal parts smooth groove and grit, their music showcases the jaw-dropping range of Rivers' vocal style while incorporating the raw rock and roll edge of the Second Sight. Their rock sound incorporates influences of blues, country, jazz, and metal, and has invoked comparisons to Heart, Grace Potter & the Nocturnals, Dorothy, and Led Zeppelin.

 

KAT RIVERS & THE SECOND SIGHT continues to take the Philadelphia area by storm just one year after forming, expanding their performances throughout the region, rapidly growing their fan base, and recently opening for the accomplished blues rock artist Ally Venable at the Sellersville Theater. Members of the Second Sight have played alongside acts such as Guns N Roses, Bon Jovi, and Gene Simmons, and have played festivals such as Mo-Pop and Gathering of the Vibes. 

 

They​ recently released their songs "Broken Promised Land" and "Smooth Talkin'",  and their debut EP is set to release on June 27th, 2025.
